Rupnagar Press Club celebrates Independence Day

Rupnagar, August 15, 2013 The 67th Independence day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Rupnagar Press Club.The president of the Club Bahadurjeet Singh unfurled the national flag.

He paid rich tributes to the martyrs of freedom struggle and stressed the need for building India of these martyrs dreams. Sweets were also distributed on the occasion.

Press Club senior vice president Vijay Sharma, Vice president Satnam Singh Satti,General secretary Satish Jagota,Joint secretary Kailash Ahuja, Treasurer Surjit Singh Gandhi,members Gurmeet Singh Khangura,Baldev Singh Korey,Rajan Vohra,Harmanpreet Singh Saini,Gurpreet Singh Hundal, Sumit Pasricha,Paramjit Singh Makkar,Sham Lal, Bains, Jagmohan Singh,Assistant Public Relations Officer(APRO),Rupnagar Harish Kalra were among those who were present on the occasion.
