Rupnagar SSP Ravcharan Singh Brar today said that media should perform the duty of watchdog effectively for the betterment of society.
While addressing a function organised by Rupnagar Press Club today,Brar said that media were mirror of society and it should work as watchdog of society as well as police to ensure improvement in the functioning of the Police adding that he would welcome constructive criticism of Police.
He said that media must have the guts to say spade a spade.
SSP said that it was his endevour to provide clean, transparent and firm administration to the people and to bring policing at their door steps.
Brar said that he was aware about the traffic problem of Rupnagar town and would personally take a round of the town on January 28 to take stock of the problem and find a viable solution to the problem.
